My first experience with birth occurred when I was 6 years old when I watched quietly with my older sisters as our sister was born. I was then witness to my brother being born two years later. This started my fascination with birth which has now turned into a passion.

I am a mother of two beautiful children and it was through their births I realized first hand the importance of a doula or birth companion, for both parents.

I enjoyed all aspects of pregnancy, labour and birth, and love talking with other mums about their experiences. I recently had the fortune of training as a doula which I believe has equipped me with many skills to support expecting parents including the importance of positioning, use of a birth ball, massage and the use of simple relaxation techniques to help with pain.

It is important for women and parents to be aware of the options available to them throughout pregnancy, labour and birth and the benefits that they may have on your experience. As your doula I can help you with your birth plan and will honor you and your partner in your choices. I will always offer you positive encouragement, support and aim to help out in whatever way I can.

I believe through my role as a doula I can help to create a supportive, calm and comfortable atmosphere during your labor and encourage confidence in your own ability. I am also here for the Dad’s as they too, need emotional and physical support during this time.
